Black Diamond Supplements is a digital, performance-driven sports nutrition brand.

From pre-workouts and protein powders to wellness and recovery products, Black Diamond Supplements delivers premium formulations built to support customers pursuing higher levels of physical performance.

Goal

We worked with Black Diamond Supplements to create a stronger digital foundation for growth.

Black Diamond Supplements’ existing online experience no longer reflected the scale or potential of the brand within the highly competitive supplement industry. AVINTIV developed a modernized digital experience focused on premium design, streamlined shopping functionality, and stronger brand positioning to help BDS compete alongside top-tier sports nutrition brands.

Problem

Black Diamond Supplements’ site structure affected their ability to scale and significantly hampered their brand perception compared to newer, more aggressive competitors.

Additionally, their previous SEO efforts had left the site with minimal keyword rankings, poor technical health, and a weak backlink profile. BDS struggled to attract organic traffic and convert visitors into paying customers, missing out on critical revenue opportunities and failing to capture SEO rankings.

We reimagined the BDS brand from the ground up by crafting a refined brand identity and high-performance website built for speed and conversions.

Following the launch, AVINTIV deployed comprehensive SEO and content campaigns focused on improving keyword visibility, driving organic growth, and enhancing domain authority. Brand Identity

After taking a deep dive into Black Diamond Supplement’s target customer group, we realized that the current BDS branding didn’t meet their needs. As a result, we refreshed the logo with a strong, bold typeface with sharp cuts. The brand identity and color scheme of white, charcoal grey, and teal provides a lightweight, approachable appeal.

Brand Style Guide

Black Diamond Supplements, like a lot of supplement brands, had a very outdated logo and brand identity. It wasn’t keeping up with a lot of the changes the larger supplement brands were making. We implemented a brand refresh for Black Diamond Supplements, which included a new and improved logo and style guide.

Custom Website

Black Diamond Supplements’ single-page scrolling website no longer met eCommerce demands, creating friction throughout the customer experience. The project required a complete digital rebuild, including resolving more than 190,000 SEO and technical issues across the site architecture. AVINTIV designed and developed a fully custom 1,900-page responsive eCommerce website on WordPress, creating a modern digital foundation built for performance.

Search Engine Optimization

Our SEO efforts included keyword research, competitor audits, and a 12-month strategy targeting 75+ high-value keywords. We resolved over 7,000 technical issues, improved site health from 70% to over 90%, and disavowed hundreds of toxic backlinks while earning authoritative ones. As a result, BDS saw a 263% increase in net sales, an 18-point boost in site health, and steady keyword growth.

Our content marketing strategy positioned Black Diamond Supplements as an authority in the sports nutrition space. Through a 12-month content roadmap, we published high-impact blog articles designed to educate, engage, and convert.
